Devon & Somerset dog bite lawyer quoted in the Mirror

Devon & Somerset dog bite lawyer, James McNally, has been quoted in the national press.

James, who is based at our Taunton office, is currently representing a 17 year old girl who needed hospital treatment after being bitten by a police dog.

The incident took place in Sheffield and involved South Yorkshire Police.

The girl was bitten by a police dog following an unrelated car chase.

James told the Mirror it is unlikely that the police dog will be put down as a result of the attack. Nevertheless, South Yorkshire Police have confirmed that an internal investigation will take place.

James represents victims of dog attacks nationwide and regularly deals with cases involving police dogs. Compensation totaling almost £800,000 has been paid out to victims of attacks by police dogs in the last 3 years.
